John Oliver Peel
Playwright, Composer, Director, Actor, Composer, Choreographer.
President of Temple Knights Productions Inc., Co-founder of the National Martial Arts Theatre Company, playwright, author, actor, songwriter, composer, painter, bonsai artist, principal teacher and co-owner of Temple Knights Martial Arts Academy. John lives and works with his wife Valerie at their home and retreat centre in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada.
John was a popular fixture in the 1960's-1970's rock scene, having played and sung for some of Canada's most popular bands of the day. He toured with mainstream acts like Jimmy Hendrix, The Turtles, Wilson Pickett, and many more. His real love, however, has been classical music, broadway musicals and acting. John played Fagin in "Oliver ", and later Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol", Master Jonah in Knights, and recently Scrooge in An Original Musical by John Oliver Peel.
John Oliver Peel writes and composes original musical theatre and has been called the 'Andrew lloyd Webber' of Canada!
